My Mom Doesn’t Want a Mother’s Day Gift – Why?

12 April 2010 No Comment

Over the years, after speaking to friends and family members, I have come to the conclusion that many times moms don’t want a big gift or a gift at all. They simply want a nice card, a dinner, or something along those lines. But, this is not acceptable.

If your mom is trying to get you to not buy her a gift, it’s one of the few times you shouldn’t listen to her. She says she doesn’t want something because she doesn’t want you to go out of your way, but in reality she does. It may sound convoluted, but trust me on this one.

To remedy the situation, I suggest buying your mom a small gift for Mother’s Day. It doesn’t have to be a large present, just a thoughtful one. Or, do something nice for your mom. Take her to dinner, to a museum showing, or something she will really enjoy.

Be sure to have a good Mother’s Day and enjoy yourself!

Sincerely,
Memorable Gifts
