Best Father’s Day Gift for a Traveling Dad

25 May 2010 No Comment

If your father is a businessman and travels often, giving him a Father’s Day gift and showing him you care can sometimes be difficult. He may be halfway around the world staying at a hotel with a telephone that costs a whopping $3 per minute and the goal is to give him something for Father’s Day that will a) reach him and b) put a smile on his face.

For fathers that are often out of town, I suggest giving them a small, personalized gift that can be sent to wherever they are in the world, and something that is memorable and will be kept forever. For example, a silver pocket watch that has been engraved with his name and the date is something he can keep with him while he travels and it will remind him of you. Personalized executive pens are also an excellent gift for Father’s Day — who doesn’t need a classy pen? I know I do.

If you intend to purchase a Father’s Day gift and have it shipped overseas, one thing I suggest is to make your selection in advance, get a final ETA on shipping, then send the gift at the best time. The last thing you want to do is purchase at the last minute and hope it gets to your dad on time.

Sincerely,
