Father’s Day Gifts for Dads in the Armed Forces

25 May 2010 No Comment

For families that have loved ones serving in the military overseas, holidays like Father’s Day can be quite difficult. And, since the United States has over 100,000 troops stationed around the world, this Father’s Day will be felt by many Americans. Fortunately, there are ways to connect with military dads for Father’s Day which I have decided to share in this article.

To show your dad (or your kid’s father) how much you care, my suggestion is to send them a thoughtful, unique engraved gift that they can keep with them at all times. This includes pocket clocks, engraved pens, or personalized silver cuff links for formal events. These are all excellent presents that can be sent to your dad overseas. Keep in mind they are not big, lavish presents but they are thoughtful and useful.

Also, you may consider sending a homemade card, which is always a big hit. Creating a card and writing a nice note saying Happy Father’s Day!, then sending it across the world, is in itself a wonderful gift.

I hope this article has been helpful and have a wonderful Father’s Day!

Sincerely,
