Over the years, after speaking to friends and family members, I have come to the conclusion that many times moms don’t want a big gift or a gift at all. They simply want a nice card, a dinner, or something along those lines. But, this is not acceptable.

In 2007 Memorable Gifts was proud to become a sponsor of MountainStar, a caring organization, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children. MountainStar Family Relief Nursery is a highly visible and highly respected local non-profit in Central Oregon. They provide crisis intervention and a therapeutic classroom for babies and young children aged 6 weeks to 4 years old. These children come from families with an average of 20 risk factors for child abuse and neglect, including low income, substance abuse, unstable housing and family violence.

In 2008 Memorable Gifts was happy to become a local sponsor for City of Hope’s Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer. Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer is a national family-oriented, non-competitive walk that raises funds to support breast cancer research, treatment and education programs at City of Hope. The Los Angeles event raised $840,000, that will go to a cause Memorable Gifts is proud to support.

Memorable Gifts is proud to help and serve a variety of charitable organizations. Last year we were happy to make a contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Nevada. It is very rewarding to work with an organization committed to making a difference in the lives of children.
